A "voice over" is a spoken audio file added over such media as
video, film, website, slideshow or a narrative in audio book form. A radio commercial is a good
example of a 'voice over'. You'd be surprised -- almost every commercial you see on television is
'voiced over' if you do not physically see a person talking.
In this internet age, many companies
are adding audio narratives to their websites, or offering a how-to PowerPoint or slideshow with audio prompts. And,
as annoying as they can be -- many companies employ an 'automated attendant' or 'IVP' (Interactive Voice
Prompt) phone answering system which makes use of recorded 'voice over' messages.
MEG Daily provides voice
over services for use in countless applications, ranging from fully produced audio -- complete with music -- to 'rough-cut' clips
for use by an outside studio for final production.
Delivery methods are via the internet in .mp3 or .wav
format or via regular or expedited mail on a CD.
